‘Tis the season to be thankful!

kielikoutsicrew, customer experience, partnerships, translator and translating

The year is drawing to a close, which means it’s time once again to hand out gifts and thanks.

Instead of buying Christmas gifts we will continue to support the Translators without Borders organisation (TWB) also next year. The organisation offers free translation services to charitable organisations, such as WHO and UNICEF.

Delingua shares the organisation’s basic values. No one should have to suffer because they do not understand the language in which information is given. The organisation has distributed information to, for example, refugees arriving in Greece, translated medical articles into 90 different languages for Wikipedia (Wiki Project Med) and trained interpreters and translators in West Africa. One of the organisation’s most linguistically challenging operations is currently on-going in Bangladesh, where thousands of illiterate Rohingya refugees from Myanmar arrive daily. Language really makes a difference.

To our customers, I want to say thank you for your trust. We have delivered a huge number of translations, provided interpreting at many interesting events and arranged many kinds of language courses. Your constructive feedback has helped us to continue to develop, while your praise has helped us to stay positive even in the busiest of times. We promise we’ll continue to improve and maintain your trust going forward!

A huge thanks also to our cooperation partners. It is a pleasure for us to cooperate every day with professional translators, interpreters and language trainers. I hope we can further strengthen our cooperation and have another mutually successful year in 2018!

Last but not least, I also want to thank the Delingua team. Together, we’ve pushed ourselves to meet and exceed not only our own expectations but also those of our customers. You’re the best!

A very Happy and Peaceful Christmas and Prosperous New Year! Wishing a successful 2018 to everyone!
